Vanuatu is a beautiful country with a pristine natural environment, crystal clear waters covering coral reefs with a people and culture that will make you want to come back for more.
A Christian country with a very community feel.  People look after each other.
It is a simpler lifestyle in an undeveloped environment.
Great place for a Pacific Island Adventure.

The exchange rate varies but has been around 80 vatu for 1 AUD. You can change money at the currently exchanges at the airport and in town or just use an ATM . Please check the rate yourself so you know what to expect

We have no formal addresses and you should have Google Maps so you can find properties you are looking for.  Don’t expect the busses and taxis to know where the Holiday Rental houses are.

Transport –  Buses, Taxis, hire cars. from 150 vatu etc We don’t have Uber type apps or services that bring transport to your door so you need to know where you are and where you want to go. A tour company will look after this if you are booking a tour but if not check the location on Google Maps.

Roads Vanuatu is an adventure and the roads can be like a 4WD park with lots of bumps. Just drive slowly and with care.

Port Vila has a good water supply but some people will get sick on any change of water. If you get sick when you travel drink bottled.

When you go to most beaches the local land owners will charge you for access.

Power points are 240 volt with a 3 pin plug the same as Australia.
